I dreamed twice last night. Which might explain why I overslept an hour. The first was normal enough (if you ignore the fact that it might get me a call from the Secret Service) -- you could even understand the dream without knowing me.
( In which there is no obvious signs of geekery in my dream, but there is a car crash. )
Second dream featured Slayers and vampires.
( In which there is geekery, but I might be able to get a plot bunny out of it if I twist it enough. )
Also, for the record, Penny Arcade did a comic featuring one of my two favorite book series, here. (Alas, the archive is being a bitch, and I was forced to link to the main page, and not the specific comic -- June 14th, 2006) And, yes, I would encourage all of you to go out and read jhereg (by Steven Brust). Though it does have no actual dragons, it does have magic and mob bosses and soul eating weapons, and the relics of an ancient race's attempts to play Mad Scientist (hey, I wonder what happens if we splice some dragon DNA in here, or see if we can make an intelligent, psychic creature with a brain the size of a walnut).
