May. 26th, 2007 07:44 pmI actually bought clothing today. This is a remarkable achievement -- not only do I hate shopping for pants*, but I actually found capris and shorts that fit. See, first I had to figure out where my size is (See, male clothing seems to be divided into 'men' and 'boys'. In addition to 'women' and 'girls', there's also 'juniors', 'misses', and 'petite'. And apparently, I'm in 'misses') and then I had to find a brand that actually fit, which is why I didn't even bother looking in the Target for cheaper shorts. All of Target's female clothing, with the possible exception of the maternity stuff, is designed for women with thinner hips than me and a larger bust.
* Shirts at least can be pretty. I also don't mind shopping in a group or even just with my mother.
I also played a lot of Pokemon, which is why I didn't get more done. But, see, that's part of my plan -- if I play Pokemon until I'm at a reasonable stopping point, I won't try to play it when I'm trying to finish my drawings/all those ficlets I owe people.
