Dear Students,
The following things are not evidence for the expansion of the universe:
1) Extrasolar planets (huh?)
2) Dark matter haloes
3) Discovery of new distant galaxies
4) Formation of stars and galaxies
5) Watching things move/get fainter (Which we can't see, except indirectly measuing velocity by Doppler shift)
I expect to add to this list.
