1. How did you first get into anime fan fiction? I wrote my first fanfiction after summer camp taught me it was okay... even if the first fanfic I read was so Mary Suish that even the pretten me was asking questions... "How do you get someone that's 1% Changeling, anyway?" It was non-anime, but once I got into anime, it was only natural for me to write fanfics. A friend in Anime Club had a link to ff.net, so I started posting stories there in my freshman year.

2. How long have you been interested in yaoi/shounen-ai? Not really interested in yaoi -- I usually like to close the door on any pairing before the clothing comes off -- I have a vivid imaginatiojn, so I don't really need the lemons. But, as for shounen ai, I blame haning out on a Harry Potter message board my freshman year that desensitised me to it.. though I still tend to mostly ship het.

3. What’s your favorite genre of fan fiction? Drama. It's rare to find drama that doesn't turn into angst or romances. But I like exploring the inner depths of a character's soul.

4. If you could wish one anime character to life, which would it be? I dunno... I would feel bad pulling someone from their world just to amuse me.

5. If you could find nothing new written about your favorite pairing in your fandom, which pairing would you read next? I would probably try to find something odd and hope it's well-written.

6. What are you favorite pairings OUTSIDE of your preferred fandom? I like Van/Hitomi (though not for fanfic), Millerna/Dryden, Kane/Millie, Yomiko/Nancy, and (not anime) Faramir/Eowyn, and Sam/Rose. And I like my own pairings.

7. Batman or Superman? Batman. He has guts -- he doesn't need to rely on superpowers, only himself and his wads of cash.

8. What was your favorite cartoon as a child? Seabert -- it was a little video series about two kids and their pet baby harp seal who fought for the environment. Like Captain Planet, but without the superpowers. But it did have animals, which I liked. And the seal.

9. What’s your all-time favorite TV show? Excluding anime? Probably Star Trek (I prefer DS9), though I have a fondness for Stargate SG1, Babylon 5 and Andromeda.

10. What’s your all-time favorite movie? I have a fondness for the Star Wars and LotR trilogies. And Apollo 13.

11. What’s your LEAST favorite movie? One you really hate? Don't know. One of those god-awful MArs movies that came out a few years ago. If it involves the Face on Mars, it makes me go stabbity.

12. What’s your favorite movie-watching snack? Popcorn.

13. What’s the best novel you’ve ever read? Hard to say -- I've read a lot. I have a fondness for Tertry Pratchett's Discworld series, though.

14. When you were a teenager, whose pictures/posters did you have on your wall? A lot of animal posters, and astronomy [posters I got at summer camp and from National Geographic. And a "Everything I Need to Know About Life I Learned from Watching Star Trek: The Next Generation"

15. If you could meet one famous person, who would you like it to be? Living, I would like to meet Stephen Hawking. Non-living, I wouldn't mind meeting Lise Meitner.

16. What’s your favorite alcoholic beverage? Don't drink.

17. If you had an entire day to yourself, to do whatever you wanted, how would you spend it? Sleep late, roleplay until evening with friends, go out a while, before going home and staying up late drawing or writing and talking on the internet.

18. If money were no object, where would you most like to spend a month-long vacation? Mars. We can get there, if money is no object. *smirks* But, if I'm limited to places on the surface of the Earth, I would say New Zealand. Looks pretty, and I've always wanted to see the southern constellations. Or Japan.

19. If money were no object, what artist’s work would you buy? I'm not much of an art collector, but I have a fondness for Vincent Van Gogh, or some of the newer space/fantasy artists.

20. If a genie were to pop out of a lamp, and offer you three wishes, what would they be? This isn't a D&D wish spell, is it? Because those never end well, unless you are painfully explicit (I want you to cast this spell on this person, kthxbai). I would wish for my friends and family to become financially independant in a legal and positive manner, I would wish that they would know what they want out of life and how to get it, and I would wish for all of use ot be able to be the people we want to be. Had to steal that from Granny Weatherwax. She is rockin.

21. If you had all the money in the world to spend on the person you love most, what would you buy them? I"m not sure who I love most, but paying off mortages and student loans is always nice. It's the gift that keeps on giving, as they no longer have to make payments every month.

22. What’s your most prized material possession? Don't know. Probably my computer. I prefer people to things, and things to money.

23. What’s your idea of a perfect evening? Sititng with friends on the beach, in summer.

24. If you could be any supernatural being, what would you be? Maybe a Selkie. Or something else aquatic. Dragon would also be cool, but definitly more Eastern than Western.

25. What dish do you order most often when you eat at a restaurant? Depends on where I go. Usually a hamburger, cheese enchiladas or tempura, depending on where I am.

26. What’s your favorite flavor/color of jelly bean? Don't eat jelly beans.

27. Do you believe in reincarnation? Don't know. Haven't decided yet.

28. Which is sexier, boxers or briefs? Considering I have yet to see a real adult male in his underwear, discounting ads, I don't feel qualified on offering an opinion.

29. What’s the biggest difference between the person you are online, and your RL personality? I'm much less shy online.

30. Here, have a pair of goldfish! Aren’t they cute? What will you name them? Formalhaut and Mira. Star names -- best not to ask.
