Assign each of your characters to a Hogwarts house and explain why.

For those of you who don't remember all of the traits associated with each of the houses, mugglenet.com has an excellent article on it.

Rikayo Darenka: Let's see. He isn't especially brave, and he definitly isn't ambitious or cunning. I would say that he leans more towards Ravenclaw, because he is a pretty intelligent guy.

Melody: I could see her in Slytherin because she is defintly veyr people-smart and shrewd, if not very ambitious. On the other hand, she is very loyal - you hurt her friends, you DIE. Now part of me is amused by Melody the Bitchy Hufflepuff -- she doens't fit the House stereotype very well. And, I think I can see that better than Slytherin, so Hufflepuff it is.

Alri Aborin: Very little question. All that fantasy she read as a kid has shaped her brain itno a true Gryffindor. A case could be made for Hufflepuff too -- Alri is the persistant type who won't give up even if she's as magical as a brick.

Phillee: A toss-up between Ravenclaw and Slytherin. Phillee can be manipulative as all hell, and she is one of the few heroes who would -- Melody doens't have the patience, Riki doens't have the people skills, and Alri has a sense of honor that says she won't unless it's part of the game (like poker or business). In a strange way, she's also ambitious -- though her ambitions are limited to the medical and scientific fields. And, once again, the House stereotypes get smashed to pieces. Slytherin

Kai Shoresprite: Ravenclaw. All he cares about are books. The only other thing I coudl think of would be Gryffindor, as Kai is a patriot at heart.

Delwyn Hywel: Damn, Delwyn is hard! He has the intelligence of a Ravenclaw, the cunning of a Slytherin, the loyalty (and tendancy towards workaholism)of a Hufflepuff and a strange sense of honor. I think, because of his concepts of loyalty and duty, I'm gonna have to put him as a Hufflepuff, even if he has Slytherin tendencies.
And the House stereotypes go crumbling down.

Faris Kimiko Al Fahd: Defintly manipulative enough to be a Slytherin, but loyal as a Hufflepuff. No wonder she and Delwyn get along so well. I half think I will have to puther in Hufflepuff as well, because of her supreme lack of ambitions and loyalty -- she puts loyalty to Delwyn above her own personal gain or wellbeing, which no Slytherin would do.

Philandre Murchadh -- Slytherin. Manipulative, controlling, and to some extent ambitious in his own way. Child's play.

Shashi Matsuhsita -- Shashi is like Kai, but a bit more focused on the ambition. While Kai values knowledge for its own sake, as well as looking like a know-it-all, Shashi's interest in magic is secondary to the pretige being in the Gate Mage's Guild. Slytherin.

Arianna Another Slyhterin. There's a reason she looks like a child, and it's only partially due to her age.

Elise Connor: Slytherin is out, as Elise does some damn selfless htings. I could see her as a Gryffindor or Ravenclaw... more as a Ravenclaw, actually.

Ravi Falk: Hufflepuff. The kid's loyal to a fault.

Aris Darenka: Ravenclaw. The girl's smart. Timid, but smart.

Saria Terrence: Gryffindor. Brave, valorous, a bit of a glory hog.

Miklin D'Lani: Probably Gryffindor as well. He's smart enough to see the flaws in Saria's plans, but goes along with them (while pointing out every single flaw) because they usually are damn exciting and interesting.
