1. How the hell do you manage to understand all the complicated maths that go with your field of study? :S
What? It's just differential equations and a little matrix theory... it's not like it's group theory or abstract algebra or anything... at list diff EQs and matrix theory have a vague connection with numbers, still. None of this 0, 1, and n are the only important numbers nonsense.
The real secret is, I don't know. I had good teachers, I guess and I know what all the complicated number thingees I do mean. And, to be honest, the most complicated physics itself usually gets I had down by my freshman year -- it's not that far past high school math. It's the math degree that's killing me.
2. Okay, Shakespeare nerd- which is your favorite play and why?
Hard to say. For comedies, it would be either "Twelfth Night" or "Much Ado About Nothing". Beatrice and Benedick from MAAN amuse me -- Beatrice is such a wonderful strong female role, and, even though she ends up paired off, she still gets to verbally spar with Benedick. And Viola from TN is just a sweetheart. That, and I like the plots of both, cliched as they are. I also have a fondness for Measure for Measure, as it brings up some interesting morality issues -- though one could argue the ending was a cop-out.
3. What would you say your 'role' is in our little group, and how do you view this role?
It's hard to view me from the outside. I would say I'm the sort of anchor. I'm the one people can talk to and get a level, honest, opinion, but phrased nicely. I'm a sort of mediator -- if you're upset I try to cheer you up, if you're angry I try to calm you down. And, to be hoenst, I'm happy about this, even if sometimes I feel a little stressed when nothing I do works to cheer someone up.
4. Now to get an honest opinion about us from you- what about us? What roles do you think we play? Why?
yuuo: The literary one -- Crisi may be my original author friend, but you've kind of taken that role. ALso, our Knight in Slightly Tarnished Armor -- if anyone were to start picking on us, you would be there, and getting into their face.
uncreativity The distracting one. The one able to get us to think about absolutly nothing but anime and talk about useless things, like whose characters would likely work at a phone sex company? (I don't think we ever actually talked about that, but it's not too far off-topic for us. )
crisi83 The big sister/parent. Common sense and the one who lets us use her place and eat her food.
Kim: Our little drama queen. She keeps us amused, and just makes life interesting.
Not sure who else to include here...
5. Nice and simple one here- What's your current favorite fandom?
Simple? *laughs* Right now, it's oscillating between Escaflowne and Slayers. I've been on a big Slayers binge just recently, but I can talk more about Escaflowne, for obvious reasions *looks at
