*sighs*
I have to proctor a test today, which means I have to close the Astronomy Reasource Room during peak (or near-peak) hours -- I've only had to do that once before, when I had a doctor's appointment last year for what turned out to be strep throat. This time, Dr. Leung asked me to proctor his 204 test, as he has gone to Asia for the holiday. And, I have to have it (and a week of homework assignments) graded and the grades e-mailed to him by Monday, which means I have grading AND Physics homework AND seminar reading over break. Joy. Not to mention, I wanted to use break to catch up on writing and drawing. And, of course, the family thing.

If Dr. Leung asks me to do this for the final, I'll make up some excuse about having to study... then I won't use it, as I am a doormat sometimes.

Is this what's grad school like?

Other news...

We experimented with chopsticks today for half of Japanese class -- I wasn't bad, but I got 6th of twelve students in a race to see who could pick up 10 M&Ms the fastest. And I think two students weren't in the running, on account of being Asian.

I sent off that letter I mentioned earlier. Let's see if it makes the paper.

I think I want to do an Amelia theme (background, a few icons, etc) for the journal.. I have been feeling unusually Amelia-ish, and this is a better way to show my pride rather than flaming the hell out of an Amelia-basher. Even though Amelia-bashers rank up there with people who kick puppies/kittens/other baby mammals for fun as to needless cruelty. yuuo, this would make a nice Christmas gift *hint hint*...

I'm hungry.
