Jun. 10th, 2004 09:02 pmI thought I heard an owl walking home from work tonight. It was kinda neat.
I like FORTRAN. Maybe my experiences with Javascript taught me to be far more tolerant of computer languages. Javascript is a bitch. I am also being good and adding comments to my code, so future programmers don't have to play the 'What the HELL did she do?' game. Hopefully I will finish my prgram tomorrow -- it runs, but there is a bug that makes it think there is no dark matter in my target galaxy -- which is wrong, as I've seen the rotation curve. I have a feeling that if I finish within the next week, my mentor will start calling me 'Rainman' again -- it surprised the hell out of him that earlier this week I had a version 1 working, even if it was a brute force program.
I need to start talking to people about graduate school. I want to go into cosmology, and I want to find a place with a good program.
Well, time to work on the old comic. Fridays are redo-old-pages days.
