I am at the Student Union -- I hitched a ride with Jenn because she has summer classes. I ordered a keyboard -- the Computer Store had no keyboards that were:

a) USB compatible. I run a Mac, which does everythign via USB.
b) Not packaged with a mouse. Okay, I need a mouse as well, but I can make do with my tablet for a while.
c) Under $60. Apple, I might have a deep loathing for Windows computers (Mostly because they are popular, so people write all the spyware/virii for Microsoft products. And throw in a bit of irrational hatred for my family's computer which seems to take delight is pissing me off.) but I am not willing to spend that much on a keyboard, no matter what bells and whistles it has. At that price, you better give me a mouse as well... not that I really want a mouse, as the two-button-and-a-scrolly-wheel mice are one of the non-Mac features I like.

So, I get my new keyboard on Friday or Monday -- the computer store will call me. I better pick up a bus schedule before I leave.

In other news, not having a working computer is boring. I signed up for another conlang relay. As for what a conlang relay is, basically think of what happens if you cross a game of telephone with the fun task of trying to decipher Hong Kong subtitles. every member has one or more constructed languages (conlangs). They get a message in a conlang, plus a mini-grammar guide. They have to figure out what the message says, translate it into their own conlang, then pass it on (with enough grammar info to decipher it). In two days. It is hella fun -- I have two languages in it currently.

I also found a php scritp for creating a online english-whatever dictionary. I am so buying sevrer space. And a domain name. Which means finding a comic hosting scripts -- and converting a lot of my other site features to php -- from what I've heard from
