In summary:
-- Vanity publisher tries to convince people they are a reputable publisher, and screen works for talent.
-- They insult SF/Fantasy writers, saying that the bar is lower for their work to be published and that they have no clue how to write plots and characterize.
-- The Science Fiction Writers fo America decide to extract sweet revenge.
-- They collaborate on a Really Bad Book and send it to the company under a pseudonym.
-- The company accepts it.
-- The SFWA reveal the hoax.
-- I laugh a lot because I am childish.

.hack//SIGN volume 3 -- I haven't watched this far in the series,so no real clue what's on this one.
Gokudo volumes 2-4 -- Gokudo is a humorous fantasy series (a bit more lowbrow and Eastern than Slayers). This features a few storyarcs (they tend to be under 6 episodes).
