Bad news, good news
Feb. 26th, 2007 04:48 pmDear C++ Complier,
My programming should not be a lesson in Feng Shui. Refusing to run when I declare a double-precision variable before a string, then running just fine when I swap those two statements makes me wonder what kind of silicon-based crack you are smoking. I will not disrupt the cosmic balance by being a messy programmer -- I promise. Heck, I doubt I'd even break the computer.
No love,
Rebecca
In other news, Dr. Margot is getting Bill Nye* to give a guest lecture on Wednesday -- it's going to be a packed house. (Seriously, I'll bet we have more people than the last exam -- partially because I know people bring friends and coworkers.)
* Yes, THE Bill Nye. Which lead to a discussion among the TAs about what age group remembers watching "Bill Nye the Science Guy" as kids (some of the older TAs were apparently too old), and how far in the future will it be before most of the class will be all 'Bill who?'.
