Well, I got my cosplay pictures back... a lot of snapshots from AnimeIowa (yes, I know that was in August) and my Halloween pictures. Which means you can see pictures of me with the Wig Of Doom... or of me cosplaying as one of my characters (Melody) for Halloween. Once I scan the pictures, that is. I also have a photo of the cute Riki doll
lasafara made me.
I've done a lot of worldbuilding junk. I really need to type it up, because it would be neat. Heck, I even have doodles of the Darynese minor deities in my physics notes... though one of them still needs a name. I also managed to get some work done on my second conlang... right now it is reminding me of throwing Latin and Japanese into a blender, maybe with some Russian, and perhaps some Welsh or another Celtic-y language for flavor. Which is different from my first, Darynese, which was the ungodly Japanese/Spanish/something-very-non-IndoEurpean blend.
I tend to use Japanese a lot in making up languages, I noticed... mainly because it's unfamiliar and I like to pick out the features that make it not like English (for the first project it was the method of postive/negative verb conjugation, and the politeness conjugation, for the second it was the kana syllibary and the aspecting (particle) system).
I also have my conversions of the Fushigi Yugi UFGs to Anime d20 nearly done. I'm not sure if I like the semi-homebrew stat conversion formulae I have. It gave Hotohori a godlike Charisma... somewhere in the high 20's (normal humans range from 3-18, with 10 as average, for the few of you not used to d20/D&D). While some stats I expect to be high (Nuriko's Strength, considering the man could probably bench-press an SUV), Hotohori's seems a bit ridiculous. I might go in and tweak it a bit, bring it down to a sane level. Say only mid 20s.
Hotohori is a Charisma monkey! ^_^
