Good news and bad news...
Aug. 3rd, 2003 09:52 pmGood news was that the list admin thought me playing Peter in her RPG was a great idea, and urged me to reply.
Bad news is, I am in a great deal of pain.
I took my bike over to my dad's house for a tune-up, and we decided to go riding outside his house. I had never really ridden on dirt before, but I was doing fine until we got on the last hill before his driveway. A car was coming and I must have spooked and ostt my balace because I fell going down the hill. It didn't help that I was trying to catch up with Dad, and wasn't breakign as much as I should have.
The lady in the car... er... truck... stopped, but my dad explained we lived around here, so I would be okay until he got me home. He cleaned up the abrasion on my arm, and asked me to move my arm around, to see if I had broken it. I still had full (if painful) motion, and there hasn't been any swelling, so he concluded it was all bruises and muscle damage. Lovely...
I'm mostly typing left-handed now, as moving my shoulder hurts.. worse part is, it was my right arm -- the one I use for drawing and writing. Tomorrow, I'll have to see what I can manage.
My bike is okay.
