I think I remember soem Buddhist-y bits I read once that described hellish or heavenly other planes of existance that your soul could reincarnate to. do you believe in life on other planets?	I think it is probable that life exists elsewhere in the universe because the chemical proceses that took place on the early Earth are not unique. So, it's more of a very distant collorary of my beliefs in universality of place and time, which ties into philosophy of science. <input ... ><input ... >
do you believe in evolution?	In what? I study the evolution of stars, and that certainly exists. I don't believe in Lamark's Theory of Evolution by Acquired Characteristics because it has been proven wrong. Or do you mean Darwin's Theory of Evolution by Natural Selection? That theory seems to explain all of the facts of modern biology, and has yet to be disproven by a credible source in 100 years. That's good enough for me -- I accept Darwin as basically right. <input ... ><input ... >
do you think religion and science will always oppose the other?	No. I think most sensible people can reconcile them. I mean, unless you are Amish, you obviously don't hate science enough to avoid the technology it gives us. And everyone, even the most ardent atheist, has beliefs about 'religious matters'. <input ... ><input ... >
