beccastareyesMy mother no longer has AOL. Now we have a cheaper browser that freezes every time I visit deviantART. Yeah, lovely. Now that I figured that out I will most likely spend a bit more time on the 'net. But at leats I don't have the schmoes IM-ing me with the age/sex/languagecrap. I was this close to putting myself in character and telling them I was a priest in my late 20s/a psychic from Iota Persei/an immortal chunk of sentient magical siliconn dioxide. Stalker points for anyone who can tell me which three characters I just named (hint: all of them are originals).
I spent Thanksgiving at my dad's place. Watched my little brother watch football in the basement all day and my dad and stepmother try and fail to make conversation with my sister before going into the tried-and-true method of talking academia with me. Well, there was alsot he breif foray (sp?) into politics, but my sister and stepmother and I united to give my dad a dose of 'shut up, it's Thanksgiving'. I also learned that my family has a history of pissing people in power off, though I don't remember the story.
Tomorrow I am going craft shopping with Mom at an ungodly hour in the morning. So expect me to be in bed in an hour.
