beccastareyesI am on the home stretch for my summer course. I have nearly finished reading (maybe 30 pages to go) and I only have about 2600 more words to write... dude, that's like a fanfic chapter.
I need to revise my older fic. Must bug friends to beta-read.

crisi83 has put me in a Slayers mood. First she showed me the Zel/Amelia AMV she was making for a late Christmas present. Then she gave me my order -- she orders manga from the comic book store, and always keeps an eye out for titles I read. I got Escaflowne issue 1 and the newest Slayers Special. Even though it was from when Lina travelled with Naga, it had a short story with Amelia. Basically, there is an imposter Lina Inverse running aorund (Not to mention Lina Sanverse, Champion of Justice, who just happens to have a name that resembles another famous Lina) and little justice-loving Amelia is determiend to hunt her down. Eventuially the real Lina and Naga come in, but not before Amelia is buried by the rumble from a spell, preserving the unwritten law that Amelia and Naga cannot appear together. Well, there is this one canon picture with both of them and Lina, but...
Liked the Escaflowne (Shounen) manga. TV Series was better -- guys were cuter and I like TV Hitomi better, though shounen manga Hitomi is begining to grow on me.
Cassie also brought me back a copy of the first issue of Lost Universe from Seattle. It's in Japanese, but I can still look at the pictures.
