Guess What I Bought?

beccastareyesI got Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix! I'm gonna scurry off to my bedroom and read until 3 AM! I also got an Evanescence CD.
Here's a tip for shoppers... always check the most unlikely sources... both Barnes & Nobles in town were sold out (they kept taking reservations after they made their pre-order, so all of their shipment was already sold by today), but my friend Sara managed to find out that Target had a whole bunch.
My room ate my character sheet... it's a shame, as I like Ishi the Rock Mage -- (he's a rock-person, and he does magic). Had to put up with![[livejournal.com profile]](https://www.dreamwidth.org/img/external/lj-userinfo.gif)
yuuo teasing me about Zelgadis clones. Aside from the 'male magic user made out of living rock', they don't have much in common. Ishi was born a rock, to a species of rocks, and would probably freak out if someone ever turned him human. Well, either that or ask to learn the spell... he's attracted to magic like Naga is to treasure. Doesn't help that his species lives off of magical energy.
I like our group... the GMS know us well enough, and have enough experience and confidence in their abilities to keep us in line to let us play interesting things... within reason.
Yuuo gave me another plot bunny again... for a Lost Universe fic. So far the ones I have to work with are:
A fic I'd like to write about Dilandau and the Dragonslayers
This one
A Harry Potter fic centering on Hermione when she learned she was a witch. Probably should check on the fandom to see if that one's been done to death -- the only thing I ever see on ff.net from Harry Potter are Mary Sues and romance fics. Because of course, a fic has to have romance in it to be good... *rolls eyes*
Add to that the two fanfics I'm writing now, the original short story, and the one I need to figure out how to get to the beta reader's, and you have a stressed-out little writer. I'll take my notebooks on vacation with me.
