Hello from Galway!
May. 13th, 2004 12:30 pmMy sister and I found an internet cafe, so I managed to snag some internet time -- not much as I have to meet Dad and my stepmother Marjorie in an hour and Jenn is giving me the 'I'm done now' look.
Dublin was okay, even if my Dad gave us the week tour in a day. We're in the southwest now, and it is frickin BEAUTIFUL. Exactly my favorite kind of terrain, and the weather has been lovely -- cloudy mornings, a bit cool -- about 10-15 Celcius -- which clear up by midafternoon.
Oh, Slayers question. I've been doing some work on adding Novel/Manga/OAV/Movie stuff to Slayers d20, and I discovered something funky. There are two spells in the series that call on Dynast -- Dynast Bras and Dynast Breath. Apparently only one was done in the TV series -- Dynast Bras I think -- but the description given matches Dynast Breath in the book. If someone can check out the spell in the TV series -- I think it is used against Saygram or Gaav, or around that time in NEXT -- I will love them. Especially if they can tell the difference between buresu and burasu in the Japanese audio to see if the translators are at fault. And a description of what the spell appears to do. Thanks!
