Anime and Science
Feb. 26th, 2005 12:58 amI did Physics demos at an event the University was putting on to enourage hihg school girls to go into science. And discovered that I actually am social when I am talking about science. I was all calling peopel over, and asking them questions, and watching CeCe and Dr. Gaskell fall over doing the angular momentum demo (as physicists, we couldn't figure out how to attach the stool to the turntable, so we just stood on it. While spinning) and playing with magents that could well kill every card in my purse. Yay me!
And I went to Anime Club, where I saw Slayers Premium ((dubbed -- best Slayers English dub I've seen, though Amelia and Lina sounded too similar. But Crispin Freeman's Zelgadis + the two guys that played Gourry and Xellos? I would possibly pay money to get a redub with those three)) and Chrono Crusade (I <3 Rosette, adorably kind and generous holy reckless crazy nun that she is)
