(no subject)

Saw Star Wars III last night. Was impressed -- it was actually pretty good. More details later, as I am at work. Rereading my collection of Star Wars novels and already found out the novels timeline doens't quite work with the movies timeline.
( No real big spoilers, but fannish detail-obsessing can be boring )

Why do I bother with things like this? And why the heck do I want to start writing Star Wars fanfic?
