1. What kind of music do you like the best?
I actually don't know... no, seriously. Anything I can sing to -- on my iPod I have Sara McLaughlin, Evanescence, Nightwish and anime soundtracks (among other things). If the lyrics and/or melody are catchy, I like it.

2. What's your favorite literary genre?
I like science fiction, but I also like fantasy. Recently I've been on a big Larry Niven kick, but I've also been rereadign Steven Brust. And Star Wars novels. And graphic novels, which don't count, I suppose.

3. If you could be anybody in any time period, who would you be?
I dunno. I like who I am, and I don't really like the past, as it would be likely I would die young of something unpleasant. I liek living in the here-and-now -- or the future, if it's a nice oen with space colonies and stardrives. None of this postapacolyptic nonsense.

4. How did you get your lj name?
Stareyes was the name of a Mary Sue character in my first fanfic -- an Animorphs/Star Trek:Voyager crossover I'm glad is no longer in existence. She was retired and turned into my alterego online. BEcca is my real first anme, and tacked on when Stareyes itself isn't available. It was also used to get my first fandom site (on a free server) so it became my fandom nickname (I sitll use Stareyes for gaming boards and art exchanges)

5. What's your favorite flower?
I like irises. They are purple. Crocuses and daffodils and snowdrops are also nice -- purple and yellow and white springtime flowers.
