I hate studying...
May. 16th, 2007 03:33 pmMy last exam is tomorrow, and I am supposed to be studying. Instead I am wasting time on the internet.
Also, I learned that I can fix my computer myself. For $200-$400, finding a place that has the parts I need in stock, and a procedure that looks somewhat more complicated than brain surgery. (It involves lots of fiddly screws and taking keys off my keyboard to get at fiddly screws.) If I can hold off until June, I can get my dad to look at it. Unfortunately, I don't think I can -- the problem is the case is buckling around the edges, and that means dust and crap can get into the computer. I can also look into having someone else do it for me, which I might do. Means letting my computer out of my sight for a couple of days, but it might be better than trying to take the thing apart. Though part of me would love an excuse to learn how my laptop is constructed.
