Heading out to the beach for a couple days. Don't expect internet contact, 'cept maybe in the airport.
Also, they picked a hell of a day for the apartment building next to mine to get a gas leak. Not only did I have to spend a half hour outside waiting til the nice firefighters and folks from NYSEG cleared my building, we also don't have hot water. And, it's probably unrelated, but the dryer doesn't work. So now I have damp laundry spread over my apartment. I'm hoping it dries in a timely fashion.
At least my flight is at noon, rather than oh-dark-thirty. It gives me some time for last minute packing.
