- When I first entered fandom in high school, I honestly didn't get why people wrote non-scifi, non-fantasy stories.
- I occassionally look at shippy/slashy fanart for characters I don't really see as romantic, just because I think both characters are attractive.
- When I see certain ships I've had bad experiences with (Lina/Zel, Elricest, etc.) my hackles tend to rise and I am much touchier than I should be.
- I constantly want to post to the
fm_alchemist community and ask 'Okay, so who are Edo and Aru? I've never seen them in the show!' (There is a reason that community is no longer on my friendslist)
- I leftovershipped in a lot of my early fandoms (pretty much anything I liked in high school).
- I usually hate the Hero's Rival achetype in shounen manga, then go out of my way to adore the female characters.
- I've played in a nextgen Slayers RP.
- I had a whole group of OCs that were probably Sueish/Stuish for Animorphs.
- I abandon fanfic and then never take if out of archives I put it in. And try to fool myself into thinking I'll work on it again.
- I was on the front page of the Lincoln Journal Star for Episode II tickets -- and I was reading Harry Potter.
