So, this is like the second or third time this year I've gotten an incredibly mild case of the flu -- just enough that I sleep a lot and feel kind of under the weather, but not enough to justify staying home. Last time it was having a sore throat and sore glands and sore everything, and an incredibly wonky internal thermostat. This time, it was a short fever (I had it for all of an evening, and my temperature only rose to 100° F), waking up unable to breath out of my nose, a sore throat, slight muscle aches and now a cough.
I want to kick my immune system -- it can either fight the darn thing off, or make me sick enough to justify skipping class (read: I am running a fever, throwing up, or am highly contagious).
