Sep. 18th, 2003 11:35 amMy first student of the day came in! Wai! I like it when they come in to ask questions -- as opposed to me having to break out Mr. Red Pen when grading.
I know I'm into my routine -- I had a dream where I just discovered I was missing a class, which usually means I have everything down so I'm looking for something to go wrong. Strangely enough, it was pretty detailed. The class I dreamed I was missing was on Tuesday and Thursday mornings -- so not only was I down for a bunch of 0's, I had to choose betwqeen class and work. Apparently it was some sort of Advanced (dream said 300-level) Creative Writing course, and was taught by
weaverlynn. I remember dream-her complaining how the coursesn the class had had before hers didn't have enough self-criticism and that people were getting away with any old writing, and she was going to help us learn to refine our work to good stuff -- which actually kinda sounds like her.
Apparently my dreams think 51 hours of class (17 credit hours) and 6+ of work a week aren't enough. They wannt to give me a writing course, too.
And it just hit me that I'm working full-time-and-a-half, counting school. Wow.
