DreamWidth

I (and everyone else in fandom), just got a Dreamwidth code. Dunno what to do with it, though.
Trying to decide between Yet Another Place to Cross-post Blog, or importing
invoking_urania over there, and adding arts and crafts and other things.
Pros of blogging over there: I snag 'beccastareyes', plus I might meet new people. Also, I can get all my posts to show up on one place, so the discussion isn't split between IJ and LJ.
Cons: I already have my OpenID setup over there. Plus, I have a paid IJ. Will be crossposting things even more. And if using IJ has taught me anything, it's that people are less likely to comment via OpenID than if they have an account.
Pros of using it as my writing/art blog: I already cross-psot everything from IJ and tell folks to sign in via OpenID, so that doesn't change anything. And Dreamwidth has better OpenID and cross-posting support, so things can still show up on IJ (and LJ? Dunno).
Cons: Lack of icons. (Not buying a paid account until I see if I like it).
Pros to a hybrid approach -- I crosspost my BeccaStareyes stuff and post all my fic/art there: Can use all the friends and subscribers feature so that people who just want fic only see fic, and the rest of you can see the personal blabberings.
Cons: Lack of icons. Pain in the neck. Dunno how to set it up if I want the fic to be crossposted to IJ but the personal posts to be manually done.
Comments from the peanut gallery?
Also, if you have a Dreamwidth, drop me a note. I'll go through and friend people.
