Dear Bones,
They were on Earth all along, or the heros end up on Earth, was old long before you emerged on the scenes. I mean, maybe if you were writing before Planet of the Apes became a meme, and every two-bit speculative fiction author decided it would make a great and original twist. As is, the ending of FMA left most fans a bit surprised.
But, then doing something similar with Eureka Seven? Fail, Bones, Fail. Yeah, there are differences -- for one, I imagine that Eureka Seven is the future, not the past, and instead of being an alternate world, they seem to be living on a shell positioned above the Earth. Still...
I wish I could quit you,
Becca Stareyes
P.S. If anyone knows how I can see a couple of episodes of Eureka Seven, The Melancholy of Haruhi Suzumiya, and Haibane Renmei, I would appreciate it. I'm going out of town, so will miss the anime club's showings, and don't want to be lost when I return. They also are starting Banner of the Stars II, but I own that (well, first two disks of three).
