Overheard in my Office

Dave-from-down-the-hall: *sticks his head into my office* Hey, Rebecca, fighter okay with you?
Me: Fighter is fine.
Dave: Great! *leaves*
Akshay-my-officemate: What was that for?
Aren't out of context conversations great?
In other news, I will be trying 4th edition D&D this Friday. It's the GM's first time GMing, and a lot of the players are novices to the whole console RPG thing.
Guess what class I'm being. XD

Date: 2008-06-12 03:39 pm (UTC)Dave, our GM, has a campaign module and pre-generated characters, but we've got two people coming in later sessions, so we might end up swapping them out. (So I can either let one of the players who won't be there tomorrow take over the pre-generated fighter the next time he shows up and generate my own character, or have the two latecomers (or the GM) do it. One of them is a long-term gamer, but the other has only played any type of RPG once*.)
* It was Adventure! by White Wolf, and I was Storytelling/GMing/etc..
And I just realized this is my first time being 'only girl at a game' in a while. Possibly since high school -- well, I think there was a short-lived (read: one session) V:tR game in college. And the high school game was only a couple of sessions of Palladium Fantasy in the summer.
