Creative Writing at Work

beccastareyesStareyes's Work Ethic: Come on, get moving. You took yesterday off to futz around, and you couldn't even justify it by cleaning.
Stareyes's Creativity: We did get a lot of writing done though.

Work Ethic: You intended to do the introduction for that paper you're working on. -_- First we do this, then we come home and write and read. Plus, walking into work is good for us.
Grace the Cat: Pay attention to me!
Work Ethic: ...
Sloth: Kitty! Let's sit with her so she calms down. And read.
Work Ethic: Fine.
(And a kitty is pet and a book is read)
Work Ethic: Time to get science done! We need to head to the bank for quarters anyway.
(There is a box from Amazon outside. In it, is the Language Construction Kit.)

Work Ethic: -_- Put it inside and get! Conlang later, science now!

Once I get to work I'm fine, and start writing on my reports and stuff. It's just the getting that takes effort. I might be the singular person who would do more science when TAing, because it gets my butt into the office. I'm going to bring the laptop home over the long weekend to work, especially since the bus doesn't run on Monday. We'll see how that goes.
