Nov. 6th, 2003 10:40 amIt's weird when your professor askes you how to spell something. Understandable, when it's Dr. Leung, who isn't a native English speaker, but weird.
The Sun is quiet today. It is clear. Last week, the Sun was full of interesting activity. It was cloudy. I'm noting a pattern here -- and it's cheesing off the students who decided to figure out the rotation period of the sun for a project.
Saw Matrix Revolution last night. My thoughts:
*Okay, that was a spoiler. So sue me.

Saw Matrix Revolution last night. My thoughts:
- There was more religious symbolism than one can shake a stick at... it was pretty blatent, too. I mean, if you clearly classify Neo as a Christ-figure, that kinda takes suspense out of the movie's ending.
- My favorite characters are the Oracle and Seraph. In other words, I like computers better than people.
- Someone brought up a good point in Gamers Association before we went. Why don't the machines use cows instead of people? They have lotsa energy, and they don't revolt. Heck, one would think that the Matrix burns more energy than the people produce. Personally, I say that all the solar-powered machines should have left for space, leaving the humans alone, but I'm just special like that.
- Special effects were as usual. Neo's climatic battle was set during a storm*, and the lightning was annoying me. I know they used the enviroment to do l33t special FX, but they didn't have to hurt my eyes.
*Okay, that was a spoiler. So sue me.
