First of all, airport security? We spent a half hour at 5 in the morning having our checked luggage searched for explosives or anthrax or something, then had to take off our shoes (except for my sister, who wore flimsy dollar snadals. Note to any terrorists: figure out how to put a bomb in those). Anyway, once we were seated by the gate, I realized I forgot to take the Swiss Army keychain (with the tiny knife, the file and the scissors) off of my keys. I mean, after I had all of my bags cleared by security. Oops.

The water is fricken cold here. I go in anyway. Because I'm a crazy Nebraskan who hasn't seen an ocean in 2 years.

yuuo, I finished chapter 1 for my fanfic. You know the one. It will be typed and sent off to you for beta-work when I get back. Also found a quote from Lord of the Rings that would fit Celena. Somehow I think she and Eowyn would get along very well.

Apparently the plot bunnies are on vacation as well. Haven't had a single idea since I got here, and all of the ones I do remember either require research or fleshing out. Any pint-sized fanfic author who thinks she can make it up as she goes along needs to be shot.
