Crazy Fangirls

yuuo got me thinking how my comic would fair under the fangirls.
First of all, there would be shippers. Lots of them. Phillee, Kai and probably Shashi would be ignored, as they have no easy ships. Kai and Phillee would have minor comedic roles in any story. Phillee will be incabable of being serious, and Kai will be incapable of talking about anthing besides his own intelligence. Shashi would be ommited entirely, or given one line.
Riki would either be shipped with one of the girls (Melody or Alri) or slashed with one of the male villains. If he is shipped with the girls, he will magically grow several inches in height, have an octive lower voice, and suddenly be an image of masculinity, except when he's spouting flowerly love poetry and whispering sensitive nothing into his chosen girl's ear. Doesn't really matter which girl it is -- the chosen girl (Melody or Alri) will be reduced to a damsel in distress for Riki to rescue -- despite the fact either of them is more competent than he is in a fight. The Other Woman's Characterization will depend on which girl is chosen. Riki/Alri shippers will portray Melody is a domineering bitch who just tries to push Riki around. Riki/Melody shippers will just portray Alri as a whiny fangirl who's stalking Riki. Heaven forbid the two possible romantic interests both be interesting, three-dimensional and viable characetrs in their own right.
The slashers will have both Bitch!Melody and Stalker!Alri, and will also feature Riki as a whiny uke who can't help falling into the arms of Delwyn or Philandre, despite all of the nasty things they've done to people he cares about. I smell bad rape hurt/comfort fic, and it hurts like burning.
Speaking of the villains, I know I'll have Delwyn/Kimiko shippers who have Delwyn marry her, depsite the fact the two of them couldn't produce a heir and Delwyn has shown himself to put everything below the country's welfare. Delwyn would probably not marry for love unless it also benefited the kingdom. We'd also get Damsel!Kimiko... heaven forbid a woman in love be able to exist without her lover.
I also think we'd get Kimiko/Philandre shippers, despite the fact they only barely tolerate each other, and Philandre is gayer than a May Day Parade.
Not to mention the Elvish Princess Magic-for-no-particular-reason-despite-the-fact-it-violates-canon Delwyn Sues and the so-wonder-ful-they-turn-a-gay-man-straight Philandre Sues. I don't think Riki would get any Sues... he's not bish enough.
