Hello, Future. This Is Rebecca

I just submitted my abstract from my REU research (read: a brief summary of "What Becky Did On Her Summer Vacation") for the American Astronomical Society's Semi-Annual Conference (Read: Big gathering of astronomers where they talk about researcha nd other astronomy things). This is the first time I have been to a national conference -- Dr. Gaskell is known for taking a gaggle of undergrads to the regional conference -- and the first time I submitted my abstract by myself, unless you count University events. So, I am off to San Diego in January (the exact dates depend on how much class I think I can get away with missing) to network with graduate schools and give a poster presentation (basically I have a poster and I stand by it and answer questions -- kind of like my old Science Fair projects).

I also registered for the general GRE today, but the damn thing glitched -- I will try again tomorrow/Friday.

Oh, in non science related news, my website is mostly up now. I sitll need to do my links section, and add some content to the comic and RPG sections. Feel free to suggest links.
