Life Update

So, school is starting again. I'm only taking one class this semester -- a seminar on Classic Papers in Planetary Science. I'm hoping it'll conquer my fear of public speaking in front of scientists. (Hint: this is not a desirable trait for a scientist.) I'm also grading for Astro 280, a writing course. I did the same last year -- which means that I may be prone to rant about students. (I do lock all such rants, and don't use names. My students have a right to privacy.) I had a nice meeting with my advisor, discussing possible thesis topics and future conferences. And two days ago I got into a car accident.
